Polos de Innovaci贸n

Innovation Poles are projects to support the development of innovation activities. Its purpose is to promote innovation and transfer of businesses in a territory for promoting regional development and competitiveness.

The Poles are agglomerations of companies in a given geographical location, engaged in similar or related activities, based on intensive use of knowledge and have a clear institutional impetus based on public-private partnership. Today, these innovative environments are points of strategic relationship between business and the Innovation System, such as research universities, business associations, financial groups and venture capital, innovation agencies, among others.
